International Food Information Council (IFIC)

The purpose of the IFIC is to provide sound, scientific information on food safety and nutrition to journalists, health professionals, educators, government officials and consumers.

National Feed Safety Database

The National Food Safety Database project is developing an efficient management system of US food safety databases that are used by Extension Service, consumers, industry, and other public health organizations.

Searchable, current and historical information on food safety issues, outbreaks, and epidemiological analysis and statistics.

Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition

Provides detailed information on the National Food Safety Initiative, HACCP programs and pesticide and chemical contamination of foods.

Food Safety and Inspection Service

Download Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures, and generic HACCP models. Reports available from FSIS FoodNet, cooperative project for monitoring key microbial pathogens.

USDA/FDA Foodborne Illness Education Information Center

Provides information about foodborne illness prevention to educators, trainers, and organizations developing education and training materials for food workers and consumers.
